Hello, my name is Jinge Wang. Welcome to my place.
I am a Computer Science Ph.D. graduate from West Virginia University, where I was privileged to work under the guidance of Dr. Xin Li and Dr. Shuo Wang. Additionally, I hold a Master's degree in Statistics from WVU, equipping me with a solid foundation in both computational techniques and statistical methodologies. My journey has been one of exploration across data analysis, machine learning, signal processing, and computer vision, with a focus on real-world applications in complex fields.
In my previous role as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Gangqing Hu's Laboratory, I focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and bioinformatics, developing and refining multimodal large language models to address complex image-related tasks in computational biology. This work required a combination of technical innovation and a comprehensive understanding of biological data, underscoring the value of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing scientific discovery.
Today, I am a Data Scientist at Polygon Health Analytics (PHA), where I continue to blend my academic insights with industry demands. At PHA, I collaborate with experts to bridge the gap between healthcare systems and advanced AI applications, using technology to drive meaningful improvements in healthcare outcomes.
