About

Hello, my name is Jinge Wang. Welcome to my place.

From Academia to Real-World Solutions

WVU logoI am a Computer Science Ph.D. graduate from West Virginia University, where I was privileged to work under the guidance of Dr. Xin Li and Dr. Shuo Wang. Additionally, I hold a Master's degree in Statistics from WVU, equipping me with a solid foundation in both computational techniques and statistical methodologies. My journey has been one of exploration across data analysis, machine learning, signal processing, and computer vision, with a focus on real-world applications in complex fields.

Following my doctoral training, I served as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Gangqing Hu's Laboratory, where my research focused on artificial intelligence and bioinformatics. I worked on multimodal and large language model-based approaches for image-centric and biomedical data analysis, combining deep learning, representation learning, and domain-specific knowledge. This experience reinforced the importance of rigor, interpretability, and interdisciplinary collaboration in applied AI research.

PHA logoMore recently, I have worked in industry as a Data Scientist in Polygon Health Analytics (PHA), applying AI and real-world data to support clinical research, decision-making, and product development. My work has spanned end-to-end model development, evaluation, and deployment considerations across healthcare and biomedical domains. Currently, I focus on advancing AI-driven solutions that bridge research and production, with particular interest in scalable machine learning systems, clinical data integration, and responsible AI applications in healthcare.
